Spark plasma sintering (SPS) is one of pressure sintering methods.It applies large DC Pulsed Current directly to the powder materials.Large DC Pulsed Current is considered to generate sparks between the powder particles and eventual repeat of momentary ultra-high temperature (up to several thousands degC.)
